Hanna Instruments HI 96831 Digital Ethylene Glycol Refractometer

Detail product About : Hanna Instruments HI 96831 Digital Ethylene Glycol Refractometer

The HI 96831 is a portable, water resistant, digital ethylene glycol refractometer that utilizes the measurement of refractive index to determine the percent volume and freezing point of ethylene glycol based coolants or antifreeze. The meter helps eliminate the uncertainty associated with mechanical refractometers. Samples are measured after a simple user calibration with deionized or distilled water and within 1. 5 seconds the instrument measures the refractive index of the sample and converts it to percent volume or freezing point. The meter features Automatic Temperature Compensation (ATC) between 0 and 40 degrees C/32 104 degrees F, and temperature is displayed (in C and F) simultaneously with the measurement on a large. Auto-shut off feature turns the meter off automatically after three minutes of non use. Volume % range is 0 to 100% + or 0. 2% with a resolution of 0. 1%. Freezing point range is 0 to -50 degrees C (32 to -58 degrees F) + or 0. 5 degrees C (+ or 1. 0 degrees F). Temperature range is 0 to 80 degrees C (32 to 176 degrees F) + or 0. 3 degrees C (+ or 0. 5 degrees F) with a resolution of 0. 1 degrees C (0. 1 degrees F).
  • Precise readings displayed in approximately 1. 5 seconds, for efficiency.
  • Battery Error Prevention System (BEPS).
  • Single-point calibration with distilled or deionized water.
  • Automatic Temperature Compensation (ATC), to eliminate the need for extra calculations.
  1. Hanna Instruments HI 96832 Digital Propylene Glycol Refractometer.
